Wikipedia reports that the YouTuber Coffeezilla (Stephen Findeisen) said CSGOEmpire offered him a $20,000 “bounty” to investigate a rival, and alleged the owner of CSGOEmpire hired people to harass influencers who promoted that rival. We did not find a published response from Ketola.
- Miles Routledge and Polymarket (September 2025). According to Wikipedia, Duel sponsored a water-fasting challenge by Miles Routledge. On 18 September 2025 Ketola posted that Routledge’s death was confirmed, which was false; Wikipedia says he later described the post as a joke meant to create chaos in the market. Coffeezilla reported evidence that funds linked to Routledge went to a Polymarket wallet betting against him.
- X account suspensions (October 2025). PokerListings (23 Oct 2025) and Gambling News (24 Oct 2025) report that X suspended his personal account and the Duel and CSGOEmpire accounts. He said on a stream that someone paid to get them banned. X gave no public explanation.
